For 47 years we shared our food and our faith through our annual festival.
Always the first Tuesday and Wednesday in October, faithful patrons came year after year from all over Ohio, busloads from neighboring states and high school Russian language students made it a field trip.
Festival-goers enjoyed... Sitting in the cultural tent to hear the balalaika orchestra concerts or to watch the Russian dance group. Buying homemade baked goods in the Country Kitchen or a Russian sampler plate in the food line. Perusing the many religious books and icons or taking a tour of the church nave. Sipping a hot brewed pot of Russian tea in our tea room or a cold Russian beer in the lounge. There was something for everyone.
After the pandemic, we reinvented ourselves in a way that still shares the foods and baked goods that were enjoyed at the Something Russian Festival, but on a more manageable scale. The St. Nicholas Mogadore drive-thru offers a rotating menu the first Tuesday of the month.
We continue to look for opportunities to showcase our orchestra and dancers as well. Until then, we hope you will continue to patronize our monthly drive-thrus.
Our next DRIVE THRU DINNER is on Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2024.
We also sell our homemade frozen foods online throughout the year.
